LT1 Main Distribution Board Upgrade

Sector

Food & Beverage

Client

Carbery Group

Background & Client Challenge

Carbery required the replacement of its ageing LT1 Main Distribution Board, which formed a critical part of the site’s electrical infrastructure. The project involved careful planning around a tightly controlled shutdown while maintaining production requirements and minimising operational risk.

What We Did

DOR Group Electrical Services delivered the complete replacement of the existing LT1 Main Distribution Board together with associated infrastructure upgrades. Works included detailed shutdown planning, removal of the existing switchgear, installation of the new distribution board, reconnection of incoming and outgoing supplies, energy monitoring integration, testing, commissioning and final energisation.

Extensive coordination was undertaken with Carbery stakeholders to ensure the works were completed safely, efficiently and within the available shutdown window.

Results Delivered

  • Successful delivery during the planned shutdown period.

  • Improved reliability and resilience of the site’s electrical infrastructure.

  • Enhanced energy monitoring and operational visibility.

  • Reduced maintenance and obsolescence risks.

  • Future-proofed infrastructure to support continued expansion.

  • Delivered safely and on programme.
